Data Scientist | Research Strategist | Builder of Analytic Tools
I turn complex problems into measurable variables
I’m a trained political scientist turned applied data scientist with deep experience in quantitative research, statistical modeling, and product-oriented analytics. My work spans industries and domains: from automating analysis pipelines for a research consultancy, to validating multidimensional poverty metrics for microfinance institutions, to leading large-scale survey experiments for mission-driven campaigns.
What I Bring:
End-to-end management of research projects: From design to fielding, and from analysis to insight delivery, I manage teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts.
Strength in statistical modeling: Experience with generalized and hierarchical linear models, Bayesian methods, causal inference methods (matching, IVs, DIDs, RDDs), and the ability to learn new methods as necessary.
Experience leading mixed, qualitative/quantitative, research. I am as comfortable facilitating focus groups as I am estimating parameters.
A strong coding foundation in R (Shiny, Tidyverse, Bayesian packages) and working knowledge of Python.
Proven ability to automate workflows, scale up analysis, and make complex ideas accessible
